We are happy to announce the successful end of our testnet with 38 teams participating as validators (FirmaChain : 10 teams, Initial Validators : 26 teams, Validators who joined after the launch of the testnet: 2 teams).
As of the end of the testnet, a total of 472,629 blocks were created while more than 144,462 transactions occurred.
Additionally, improvements in the areas including Firma Station usability, chain upgrade, token swap were made while the final round of swap test ended in a huge success, recording a 99.6% swap rate.
Rewards will soon be distributed to all validator participants according to the respective team’s level of participation in and contribution to the testnet.
Our original plan was to launch our mainnet right after the end of our testnet. However, due to unforeseen circumstances we had no choice but to postpone the launch of our mainnet. We hereby offer our apology and ask for your understanding.
Until the launch of our mainnet, we will do our very best to even further enhance our mainnet.
On a final note, we are naming our new mainnet as ‘Colosseum’ from our testnet instead of retaining the original ‘Augustus.’

Unlock does not necessarily imply a direct injection of the supply into the market. In other words, the actual circulation supply could be less than the numbers mentioned in this announcement.
The expected unlock schedule was initially planned based on a total supply of 600,000,000 FCT/FCT2. Therefore, please bear in mind that with the coming Mainnet hard fork, the expected inflation rate has not been factored in when calculating the expected circulation supply.
