Hello. This is FirmaChain. In the year 2021, FirmaChain focused on validators and governance policy set up as part of our attempt to hard fork the FirmaChain mainnet. In the process of honing our policy, we decided to receive a comprehensive legal review of our mainnet policy in order to ensure that we were operating within legal boundaries. As a result, we have finally received our legal partner’s review that the current operational structures of the Colosseum mainnet are within the boundaries of the relevant statutes and regulations. Therefore, we are happy to announce that we will be launching our mainnet Colosseum as scheduled, on the 26th of January, 2022 per our announcement in the most recent posting. With the heightened interest and rapid growth of the blockchain industry globally, governments from all over the world are actively pushing forward statutes and regulations in their respective jurisdictions in an attempt to rein in the nascent industry. Such attempts are rapidly changing the legal contours surrounding the industry. The blockchain industry is developing at an exceptionally rapid pace when compared to that of the others. As a result, the FirmaChain team decided that the project needed an additional round of legal review before launching our new mainnet in order to effectively adapt to the rapid changes. We decided that this was necessary even at the expense of postponing some of the milestones that we have developed over the course of the past few years. Even though we cannot possibly dare to fathom the long wait that our holders had to suffer, we are still grateful that we are finally able to launch our mainnet without any further delay since all of the FirmaChain team and the testnet validator participants have worked countless hours for a successful launch. We hereby express our deepest gratitude to all our holders for being patient in the process. We promise to do our very best to adapt in the rapidly changing climate surrounding the industry. Even in the future, if we decide that additional legal reviews are necessary even at the expense of postponing our plans, we will not hesitate to do so in order to, first and foremost, protect the interest of our holders and to modify the project so as to satisfy the relevant statutes and regulations stipulated by the authorities. As we’ve mentioned above, we will hold ‘investor protection’ and ‘project longevity’ over all other values and will do our best to become a blockchain project with solid fundamentals.
